Season 10 Game 9
After winning two games in a row and getting himself in contention to get a big payday this big question on everyone's mind was "how will Baughman act and play tonight?" After being unusually, amazingly quiet for most of the night Eric won a pot and started to question someone else talking trash......and then proceeded to shit the bed and get knocked out in 13th place. Eric Beddow and Ted Lynden were financially better off due to Baughman's finish.
The rest of the game featured Bonetti's sub finishing better than he has all season by finishing second to Akron Don.
It was also great to see a returning league member in John Norris. We have missed him in the league and it was great to see him again and playing.......well lets just say Jeff was very happy his brother subbed for him.
We will see everyone in three weeks for the final game of season 10!!

Season 10 Game 7
For game 7 here is all I can say.....Baughman won.

Several people have asked what they payouts will be for the league as we head into the final 3 games of the year.

Season 10 Game 6
Well, tonight's game was entertaining to say the least. For starters, while we all know the reputation Gary Tahsler has when he loses, we got to see how he celebrates a come from behind win. Gary called an all in bet from John who was way ahead against Gary's queen 4. When Gary got his 4th queen on the river he jumped up and made the "suck it" gesture to nobody in particular. Yeah, that really happened.
One of the more amazing hands of the night happened at the final table with 9 players remaining. Sean, in the small blind, raised the bet only to have Marilyn snap push all in. That was followed by Blevins snap pushing all in over the top only to be snap called by Sean. Marilyn showed her pocket kings, Gary showed his pocket queens and Sean, of course, showed his pocket aces. Everyone was waiting to see who go lucky and got three of a kind but Gary, the new owner of the rectal horseshoe, got 4 diamonds to get his flush and knock out two players. Gary managed to not blow a huge chip stack and took the win for the night.
In the "be careful what you ask for" hand of the night, Akos flopped two pair and pushed all in. He was called by Eric Baughman, who had a straight draw and a flush draw but had to show off and hit only the third straight flush in the history of our league. He took that momentum to a third place finish and, obviously, the high hand of the night.
We will see you all on February 18 for game 7.
