After five hours of play, the final game of 2021 was remarkably close. Ray Gun took first at only five up, and Our Guest finished last at only six down, making the weekly loser's trophy irrelevant. The close game occurred despite the fact that many pots were large. It was a very entertaining night indoors, a small home game with four regulars and a solid second-timer as a guest. We were out of earshot of any little ones, and the host's girls were out of state; the music was inappropriate and loud.
