A late chill could not dampen the spirits of the regulars in attendance, the four currently on top of the chart and the three currently on the bottom. Speed took the checkered flag for Game 18 at eight up, and everyone else currently positive on the chart—including the Galactic Derelict, who collected his three dollar D—finished up in single digits. The Counselor liked her cards and lost just two dollars. Mitch, who played impressively, could not overcome his lack of cards; he dodged the trophy by a dollar when the good doctor finished eleven down. The First of May/May the Fourth/Cinco de Mayo game on 5/6/25 is in the books, and everyone was a winner.
