The weather, like the company, was a real pleasure. The lone guest played slowly but increasingly competently; he was the only loser on the night at eleven down. Our two newest regulars played well and, despite a night with plenty of large pots, they both avoided a loss and finished even. Speed's five dollar would-be first place finish was undone by a two dollar derelict pot giving his big brother (your Padre) Racer-X the checkered flag. Jelly donuts and train tunes? You bet.
