Under pressure, our heroes stepped up. Pots were significant and so were the swings, but in the end, everyone who played rocked. Speed and the Dude each had long heaters, but, undaunted, the challengers chipped away at those wins. The Dude's seven dollar win was enough to lift him from fourth on the chart to third. Speed's six dollar profit incrementally improved his grip on the lead for the championship. Ray Gun and your Padre recovered from nights in the negative and ground out two dead-even finishes. Uncle Rico's two dollar derelict win converted his single-dollar loss to a single-dollar win. Mitch, after both good and bad cards, played well and finished just two down. Choo-choo also had some good cards and bad beats; her five dollar loss wasn't enough to undermine her in-the-black-first-year chart position.
