Description Game 1 (and Annual Party!)

Nine regulars, including the returning Nemesis, celebrated each other and a brand new year. The games were limited at the large table (with some players suffering long stretches between wins due to the group size), but the pots were often large. The two double-digit winners were Doc, in first even before a three dollar derelict win, and the Nemesis in second. The double-digit losers were Speed, our most recent champion and reigning Pirate King, and the Dude, who took home the first loser's trophy of 2026. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the entertainment and the outstanding spread of food, liquor, and cigars. Here's to hoping the year is like the party.
