On a night when two of the six players were guests, the pots were, again and again, very large, but, somehow, going into the derelict hand, the "big" winner was two dollars up and the "big" loser was five down. The two-dollar derelict pot made Choo-choo the top finisher at just three dollars up. Three. The best cards of the night were without question Our (Martian) Guest's, but the same erratic betting that made him hard to read left his bucket bottomless; after going ten on, he gained and gave back a huge stack, making the absent loser's trophy even less relevant.
