Description Warm, But Oh So Enjoyable

Five regulars and a good guest enjoyed a night on the deck that was a little warmer than ideal but a little less smoky than anticipated. The smoke around the table came mostly from some excellent cigars. The play was solid, so good that any minor lapses in focus had consequences. After a two dollar derelict bonus for Our Guest, who made the trophy irrelevant at eight down, everyone finished in single digits. Rico and your Padre finished on top at five up. The tight finish came despite straight flushes, including a royal and a wheel, and multiple quads. Smokin' good fun.
