The Kids Are All Right!
First and second place went to our newest regulars, Doc and Choo-choo, our Dr. Doom and Rocket, who both played well. Ray Gun's painful card drought stuck him with a double-digit loss and the loser's trophy. The quad rush continued at the Dude's Big Table, and the weather was perfect. It was sweet to be back in Church again.

Fisticuffs!
Mitch Barnes was in the house, and he let his fists fly. He broke a double-digit tie with your Padre with a final two-dollar derelict jab. On the negative side for the night, only Our Guest lost in double-digits. The quads continued this season. Pots ranged from small to large, and scoops were many. Fisticuffs and fun.

Entertainment: High; Finish: Tight
Although the players were many and the pots were large, everyone—up or down—finished in single digits. Our host Speed was in good spirits and took first at nine up. Your Padre accidentally gave away a three dollar wheel but still took the Loser's Trophy at just nine down. Our Guest cut his loss in half with a three dollar derelict win. Quads continue to be a thing. Foolish fun.

Go, Speed! It's Your Birthday!
Speed Racer celebrated his big birthday with a three dollar derelict win that left him "practically" positive on the night. His big brother Racer X, your Padre, spluttered through a mid-game card drought but roared back with a series of big-pot, both-way scoops and a pedal-to-the-metal finish. Our Martian guest dominated most of the night through great cards and generally good play; the old Marvin might have given back all of that money, but Marv has learned to fold. Rocket, aka the Train, chugged up the hill intelligently again and finished in third. Mitch and Speed, as mentioned, were only a dollar down each, and the good doctor avoided a trophy-take due to a double-digit loss by the mighty Galactus. The whiskey was excellent; his cards were not. Beautiful night at the 19th Hole!

Irish I'd Won More
Galactus dominated with an Irish soundtrack. The Dude fought back to even with three wins on the final round, but there are rumblings atop the chart. Your Padre collected three dollars on the derelict hand, and Doom, who played many hands and had some bad beats, finished twenty dollars down on the night. The whiskey was excellent.
