Speed & His Brother
For most of the night, your host, Speed, and your Padre, Racer X, battled for the lead. Speed overtook his older brother at the finish line, and both finished positive in double-digits. The Batmobile crashed through repeated bad beats. Although the Dark Knight was the only double-digit loser, the loser's trophy did not attend. The good doctor took third on the night with a one-dollar win; after accounting for a three dollar D to Our Guest, everyone else finished eight or fewer dollars down. Your Padre made a controversial Rip Card straddle, keeping both a small set and an overpair alive. The decision paid off, which is of course irrelevant in terms of its wisdom or lack thereof. The move provided some lively conversation. Only the Dude and your Padre liked the choice. Galactus' exact words? "You are wrong!!!" Entertainment value? High.

Snakes On A Plane?!
A new game emerged from the snake crate, but the story of the night might be the terrible, no good, FU Mitch cards that left him the only player in double-digits. He took home Mr. T with grace and good sportsmanship. The big winner was Doom at eight up. Every other player finished four or fewer dollars up or down from zero, with Uncle Rico exactly even. Batman's return to the table included a two dollar derelict pot that moved the Dude-in-a-sling from one down to one up. The night was windless, warm but pleasant. The musical mix? "Americanarockabillyish."

Whatever, Thor.
A little rain, thunder, and lightning—none of it forced the hardy team indoors. Hands returned to the norm after last week's insanity. Speed finished first. Our Guest was last despite a two-dollar derelict win. The good doctor, who finished first two weeks ago and last last week, played this week's bad cards to a solid, exactly even finish. Great fun, and no one was electrocuted.

Unprecedented, Spectacular, Beautiful
The Devourer of Planets is back. On a night that saw truly spectacular hands and beats, Galactus was the only winner in double-digits. The only loser in double-digits was the good doctor. For the second week in a row, the chart was a roller coaster: the player who finished first the previous week took the current week's trophy. Bad beats, we got 'em. Big hands? You had to be there to believe it. Three straight flushes were revealed, and one was a royal flush. Quads were beaten by straight flushes twice. Quad aces were beaten. Case cards materialized. Dr. Doom stayed in a little long on occasion and had some painful finishes. Our Tony Stark built himself a boat and doubled his win with a three dollar derelict pot. Speed crossed the finish line at a dollar up. The brothers, Torch and Aquaman, were back at the table and only a few dollars down in the end. The host, stunned by a mid-game hammering, staggered through the latter half of the night fifteen on but ground back to finish just two dollars down. The weather was perfect; the music was mostly Frank.

Like Lava, It Came From Below
Up from the depths of the chart came Doom and the She-hulk. The volcanically hot evening, with the setting sun mitigated by a trailer park tarp, saw one double-digit winner and one double-digit loser: Dr. Victor von Doom played his cards well and finished on top; Mitch's cards were painfully bad, and he took the loser's trophy. The host was inverted all night but went "King-of-the-Grind!" with a very late single-dollar profit. Hot, hot fun. Post-game, the book appeared to be a "Killbot Hellscape" but more likely was completely correct. Speed+Rye=Confused Memory? Ruling in favor of Doom. Three dollar D to Speed; no chart-screwing increase beyond his recorded four dollar finish. Gavel says "Bang!"
